01/01/2005 Archived Entry: "Internext Warning - Avoid Jay Servidio of Teleteria"

Don't get swindled by Jay Servidio at Internext. Here's the scoop on Jay:

Everyone looks forward to the Internext-Expo in Las Vegas. While you're there, be sure and visit the booth of Internet swindler Jay Servidio of Teleteria. If you want to learn how to scam newbies, he's your man. But if you're in the market for a turnkey adult Web site, run away from Scamster Jay as fast as your legs will carry you.

Don't even think about paying him money for one of his junk sites. At least check sites like badbusinessbureau.com, cozycampus.com, and scam.com. You'll soon learn about his nefarious schemes. Every word that comes out of the man's mouth is a lie, so be very careful.

See you in Vegas,

The Truth about Jay Servidio and Teleteria Inc.

It is shocking and dismaying to see an AVN.com online editorial that gushes with praise about Jay Servidio, an Internet scammer famous (or, more accurately, infamous) on numerous Web sites as a con artist who cheats newbies out of their money. Want to know the truth about Servidio? The following is from a highly reliable source who spoke on the condition of anonymity:

“I worked for Jay for a total of two weeks and quite because of his ethics and the fact that the ‘paycheck’ he promised weekly never appeared. I had to go through the Connecticut Labor Department and they ruled in my favor. I would like to gather a bunch of people together that have been screwed by this shitbag and file a class action against him.

“Here is a little inside information on Jay Servidio. His so-called company consists of Jay himself and a handful of college kids he hires to do cheap Web design and never pays. His company is run from the basement of his condominium in New Canaan, Connecticut, not from New York. He has a ‘virtual office’ setup in NYC and all of the mail is forwarded to his home address. Sixty percent of the call volume to his ‘office’ are people wondering there their Web site is or where their money went. The other forty percent are people falling for his scams.

“I have since started my own legit IT company and have been quite successful. I would like to help out in any way possible to bury this piece of shit because people like him ruin the Internet and our freedom on a regular basis and need to be stopped.”

So much for the great businessman Jay Servidio. The source says that Servidio doesn’t even have a high school diploma or GED! Others have concluded that he’s a not-so-bright crook, and maybe being a dropout helps explain it

Take a look at any of Teleteria’s adult sites. They consist of outrageously overpriced junk content. Any professional will tell you that you can do better elsewhere for a lot less money. But at least the content is legal.

His TeleteriaCasino.com gambling sites are likely in violation of federal antigambling statutes. I filed a complaint with the U.S. Attorney’s office, District of Connecticut, on TeleteriaCasino.com. I received a letter in response from Assistant U.S. Attorney David J. Sheldon, who stated that he referred my complaint to Supervisory Special Agent Joseph Dooley of the FBI office in New Haven, Connecticut. I will supply copies of these letters to anyone who requests them.

Let’s take a look at a few of the claims made in your puff-piece online editorial:

1. Servidio teaches classes at The Learning Annex in New York City and Toronto. Not true. Call these Learning Annex offices if you don’t believe it.

2. Teleteria has “an experienced team of certified design professionals.” Is that what you call “a handful of college kids he hires to do cheap Web design and never pays”? See the source’s comments above.

3. There is a “money-back guarantee in writing.” The newbie that Teleteria is victimizing doesn’t know anything about adult Web sites, or he wouldn’t be doing business with a scamster like Servidio to begin with. Therefore the neophyte naively accepts Servidio’s overpriced, inferior site either before or after changes. By approving the site, the newbie is dead meat in the jaws of Internet shark Jay Servidio

4. Teleteria “sells” the site to a “client.” Another misrepresentation. The site can’t possibly make money because the content is garbage. When the victim gives up, Teleteria keeps the victim’s money and sells the site to the next newbie sucker! For the $4,000 or $5,000 Servidio fleeces his prey out of, shouldn’t the victim at least still own the site and design work? After all, that’s what the so-called client paid for. Not if the prey is dealing with a fraudster like Jay Servidio.

5. “Where I want to be in five to ten years is doing exactly what I’m doing now,” Servidio says in your online editorial. Those of us who are working diligently to expose him and Teleteria for fraud predict that in a lot less time than that, he will be out of business and behind bars for swindling so many innocent people out of their money.

To learn more about the morally corrupt Jay Servidio, search “Teleteria” at Web sites like badbusinessbureau.com, scam.com, cozycampus.com, and ynotmasters.com, to name a few. Teleteria’s reputation as a fraudulent operation will be readily apparent.

To you at ANV.com: I hope you possess the human decency to stop promoting Jay Servidio and Teleteria. Innocent parties who read your online editorials will become victims of Teleteria’s fraud. If that isn’t enough, AVN.com could be guilty of aiding and abetting fraud by promoting Jay Servidio’s swindles.

I can't tell you how happy I am that Teleteria is finally being investigated. I have been going back and forth with Servidio on other boards for months now, this guy is a consummate con-artist. If you do business with him, you WILL be ripped off. The guarantee he offers is worthless, he refuses to honor it. Once you accept the sites the guarantee is no longer valid, no matter what he tells you otherwise. A money back guarantee implies that you paid the money, to tell you that once you pay all the money you no longer have a money back guarantee is fraud, and false advertising. I wish I knew that before I lost my $5800. If the other people that he has ripped off haven't called the FTC at the number provided by the above post, please do so as soon as possible, lets put this guy out of business so that he can't hurt anyone else.

I got a letter from Jay's lawyers today telling me to cease and desist all 'defamatory postings'. I guess I got to him huh? Well it doesn't say I can't post, I just can't post anything 'defamatory', so I guess I'll have to watch my language until I have a chance to talk to my lawyer. I won't be bullied into shutting up by Jay or his lawyers. Besides, if the last few posts about the FTC and FBI are correct, I'm the least of his problems.

Neil
